• If the application dossier is complete, the Representative of the Republic of Indonesia will submit the request to the Minister within 2 months at the latest, starting from the date the complete application is received.
• After that, the Minister will examine the application within a maximum period of 14 days. And if the application file is complete, the Minister will forward it to the President within a maximum of 14 days, starting from the date the request was received.
• Next, the President will issue a decision regarding the names of people who have lost their citizenship of the Republic of Indonesia and forward it to the Representatives of the Republic of Indonesia.
• Representatives of the Republic of Indonesia will later submit a Presidential Decree to the applicant within 7 days at the latest, starting from the date the Presidential Decree is received.
• Finally, the Minister will announce the name of the person who has lost Indonesian citizenship and the State Gazette of the Republic of Indonesia.
